ALBERTON – As this is a municipal facility the Alberton municipality could sell tickets at the municipal offices to Alberton residents on presentation of a valid, municipal account which is paid to date, which reflect the resident’s address, ensuring that only Alberton residents can purchase the tickets.
These tickets could be in the form of a season ticket for residents who regularly use the facility or a ticket for any number of visits, but pre-dated and controlled in numbers so that tickets will only be available for the number of people that the pool is equipped to handle at any given time and again only to Alberton residents.
This will mean that Alberton residents must plan their visits ahead of time and go through the process to obtain a ticket, but I believe it is a small price to pay if residents want to continue to use the facility over weekends.
Alberton municipality must inform residents from other areas that they will not be allowed at the pool by way of publication/newsletters etc.
