Tieghan’s ITMA experience

The International Model and Talent Association (IMTA) New York trip for Figures Models South Africa was a huge success, according to Tieghan Ann Griffen-Coetzer and her mother.

ALBERTON – They have been planning this trip since last year November, and it took a lot of campaigning and organising. The models received training before they started their journey as part of the preparation.

Luckily for the models it was not all work and they had the opportunity to play a while as well. They experienced New York and all its wonders. Central Park, Time Square, The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island were some of the attractions that they were able to see.

The conference was filled with workshops and seminars that the contestants could benefit from. “The workshops and seminars were extremely informative and sometimes frightening – these seminars definitely opened my eyes to the ins and outs of this industry, and we now feel much better prepared for all future ventures that may come our way,” Emma Griffen explained.

“According to my daughter, we are going back to New York in three years’ time; I guess I should start saving all over again,” Emma added.
