Time to serve and make every day a Mandela Day

Once again, the global community will celebrate Mandela Day on July 18, a day in which citizens, the world over, are called on to give 67 minutes of their time to making a difference in the communities in which they live.

SOUTH OF JOHANNESBURG –  Particularly symbolic is this year, as we strive to keep the legacy of this great statesman alive and make everyday a Mandela Day. The message is simple for Mandela Month, that each individual has the ability and responsibility to impact positive change every day. In support of this, the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) is calling on all South Africans to make a difference by donating blood.

The objective of the Campaign is to inspire individuals to take action to help change the world and the lives of others for the better.

Blood donation is one of the simplest ways to make a difference to the lives of others and it is something you can continue to do every 56 days, a sustainable action to make a difference to the lives of others.

Pledge your commitment to this cause today and continue making a difference to the lives of others.
