Donate to Natalspruit Hospital

Donating clothes will be better than donating paint.

KATLEHONG – ALTHOUGH it might seem like the Natalspruit hospital might need to be repainted, the hospital has other things it needs more urgently than paint.

Moreover, the hospital is due to make a move to a newly built hospital at Vosloorus, not very far from Katlehong, where it is currently based.

According to the hospital’s Communication Officer Vuyo Sabeni, the hospital could use warm pyjamas, hats, blankets, gloves and socks to help keep children and adults warm this winter.

“The former Premier of Gauteng had indicated that the hospital should be moving to the new building at Vosloorus this year.

“That is why we cannot ask people to donate paint to repaint the building. It would be best if they help the patients keep warm all of this winter.

“Meanwhile, we are still waiting for the Gauteng Department of Health to give us a directions on when we should move,” Sabeni added.

The new hospital is almost ready, as soon as all the equipment and machines are installed, the move could be made.
