Alberton SPCA second-hand shop and flea market

Alberton SPCA sells donated items to raise funds for animals in need

THE Alberton SPCA has a second-hand shop that operates purely on second-hand donations.

The shop sells a variety of items such as books, clothing, cutlery, crockery, baby items and generally anything in working or wearing order.

The SPCA relies on the generosity of the community for the donations in order to raise funds for day-to-day operations and running of the Alberton SPCA.

Every Saturday, they run a flea market at the Alberton SPCA, selling many of the donated items.

You can also donate empty printer cartridges, old newspapers, magazines, cardboard and paper for recycling.

Your donations go a long way in helping the SPCA with their mission and the animals in need.

You can help Alberton SPCA in the following ways:

Sponsor a kennel for R110 per month, become an annual member for only R50 and receive regular updates on the Alberton SPCA and a monthly newsletter.

The SPCA are always in need of office stationery, cleaning products for their kennels and cattery, dog food, cat food, overalls, first aid kits, fire extinguishers and more.

If you have animals that are not micro-chipped and would like them to be chipped, an inspector will chip them at your property in Alberton for R250 per animal.

If you are looking for a new pet to love, visit the Alberton SPCA in Lincoln Road, General Alberts Park or contact 011 907 1568.
