Spread some warmth this winter

With the cold setting in much quicker than expected, homeless and less privileged people will be caught in the icy grips of winter and by now, they are already experiencing the discomfort of colder nights out in the open.

The challenge is on and Paul James Hairdressing is calling on everyone in the hair and beauty industry to join them in their blanket drive.

In conjunction with the Caxton South newspapers (Alberton RECORD, Comaro CHRONICLE and Southern COURIER), a blanket collection will be run until Friday, May 9. All blankets collected will be distributed in the following week.

Business people in the hair and beauty industry, and any other businesses willing to take part, are requested to send the details of their drop-off/collection points to cvdwalt@caxton.co.za (subject blanket drive) as soon as possible to ensure publication of these points before the drive draws to a close.

With about two weeks to go, Caxton South would like to call on all business and individuals to join us in this drive. Open your heart, give a blanket.

Drop-off points are: Paul James salons situated in Alberton City, The Glen Shopping Centre, New Redruth Village, Glenvista Shopping Centre and Comaro View Shopping Centre as well as the Caxton South offices at 1 Eaton Terrace, Terrace Building (ground floor), New Redruth, Alberton.
