WATCH: Green Plastic Designs on fire
Fire erupted at a New Market based company, Green Plastic Designs.
Ekurhuleni fire services have attended the scene together with CPS, Sentinel Security, First Help, FOX and Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD).
A distressed Leon Horn, owner of Green Plastic Designs told the RECORD that the reason for the fire was not yet known.
“I was at home when I received a call saying the place was on fire, I don’t know what caused the fire. The fire is mainly at the back,” he said.
Horn said inside of the storage was a truck, forklift, plastic and electronics.
According to EMPD, they were the first to come to the scene after seeing a massive smoke.
