Alberton Methodist Church invites the public to its massive event that hopes to celebrate June 16 and promote unity.

ALBERTON Methodist Church invites the public to its massive event to celebrate June 16 and promote unity.

This annual event is said to be fun-orientated, accommodating and will have those attending experiencing loads of fun.

Unlike previous June 16 events, this year’s occasion will consist of neon lasers, a Christian DJ, music bands, a children’s area and food vendors.

According to the event organiser, youth pastor James Dunn, the event will cater for everyone.

“We do not exclude the elderly. We want people to come in their numbers to experience fun while they worship. We are working on a car audio competition for the day although the music that will be played has to be strictly Christian music. “Members from other churches are welcome to become part of us on the day,” said Dunn.

The event will start from 2pm till late at the church in Heidelberg Road, Newmarket.
