Man dies after being hit by two vehicles on R59

The details surrounding this incident are not yet known, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.

A MAN was killed when he was hit by two vehicles on the R59 in the Kliprivier area on April 17.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 7.28am to find the body of a man lying in the middle of the road. The two vehicles that hit him were found parked a short distance away.

Paramedics assessed the man and found he had sustained numerous injuries and showed no sign of life. Nothing could be done for him and he was declared dead.

The drivers of the bakkie and light motor vehicle fortunately escaped injury.
