ON April 9 at 7.20pm four suspects tried breaking into a house in Van Bergen Street, Brackenhurst, but was unsuccessful in their attempt.
A resident across the road arrived home and while waiting for the gate to open the same suspects pulled up behind her. She was held at gunpoint where the robbers made off with all her belongings and her White Polo GT.
A lookout was given out to their reaction team and on a routine patrol an officer noticed a vehicle matching the description and called for backup.
Tactical and reaction units responded and confirmed it was the same vehicle that was taken in Van Bergen Street.
SAPS was contacted and the scene was handed over to them.
