One shot was fired and a victim was shot outside Springbok Pharmacy premises, Alberton Mall during an altercation between a G4S truck and a member of the public where shots were fired this afternoon, March, 7.
The victim sustained a slight injury and he was treated on the scene by National Paramedical Services.
He’s still under police custody until they establish if he was the suspect.
According to Tyrone van der Merwe, CPS Security, “There was an incident between G4S and the suspect and that is still to be confirmed after the CCTV footage has been checked”
Alberton police’s support commander, LT Col Heynf, said “the matter is still being investigated “
