Dream of floodlights at Alberton Bowling Club comes true

“IT was always my dream to have floodlights at Alberton Bowling Club and that dream now came true,” this was the message from Renée Venter, women’s president of Alberton Bowling Club at the official launch of the floodlights on Wednesday November 27.

A big role player in making this dream possible was the generous sponsorship from B & W under guidance of Brian Haley and his team.

This historic occasion was graced by the presence of the presidents of Alberton, Reading and Brackenhurst Bowling Clubs, as well as the vice-president of the district, the club’s executive and the twelve teams which were part of this historic occasion.
