THE EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit arrested a male suspect in Eden Park on July 11 around 10.15am. The suspect was found to be in possession of 20 ziplock bags of the drug Cat.
The arrest was as a result of the metro police swiftly acting on a tip-off from the members of the community. Cash amounting to R140 was also found on the 44-year-old suspect.
He was detained at Eden Park Police Station station and is expected to appear in the Palmridge Magistrate’s Court soon.
