CPS Security’s control room received an alarm from Phillip Street in Verwoerdpark just after 3.30am on April 12.
Upon arrival, reaction officers made contact with the client who informed them that a suspect was seen stealing one of their bicycles.
Their reaction units proceeded to the highway as the suspect was seen jumping over the back wall. The team successfully caught the suspect and handed him over to Alberton SAPS.
