Vehicle rollover leaves one dead

ER24 paramedics were travelling along the highway when they were flagged down by motorists who had allegedly witnessed the incident.

A man, believed to be 26-years-old, was killed yesterday afternoon following a vehicle rollover of an SUV on the N3 Highway near the Grey Avenue in Alberton.

ER24 paramedics were travelling along the highway when they were flagged down by motorists who had allegedly witnessed the incident.

Upon arrival, paramedics found a wrecked SUV on the side of the road. The body of a man, believed to be 26-years-old, was found lying a short distance away from the vehicle.

Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous injuries and showed no signs of life. Unfortunately, nothing could be done for him and he was declared dead.

The exact details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
