Pageant news and water collection

The modelling school were so proud of all of them.

RVT Modelling School Alberton had their first Model of the Year show in December. All models had to think out of the box to create recycled fashion and had to show it off at a fashion show.

All were left speechless when the unique designs were paraded. The modelling school were so proud of all of them. All models received special awards.

Among these awards were Best Competitor of the Year, Best Achiever, Best Performer of the Year, Best Junior and Senior Beginner Exam Models and many more. There was also a Top Three of the evening, from which one model was crowned Model of the Evening.

ROLE MODEL / TITLE HOLDER: Charné Heunis was crowned RVT Role Model and Title Holder of the Year 2017. Here she poses with the Santa’s Shoeboxes that she collected from members of the school.

Lungile Siyapi was crowned RVT Model of the Year 2017. Congratulations.

“We would like to thank all RVT models and guests who donated Santa Shoeboxes to Charné Heunis (Miss Junior Africa 2017 and Miss Teen South Africa 2017) and the assistant RVT teacher who organised this charity project,” said Luzanne Heunis on behalf of RVT Modelling School.

“The Shoeboxes are to be donated to Siyabonga Children’s Home,” Luzanne added proudly.

Charné, Luzanne’s daughter, has started a water project for the Cape, too. She is asking the community, schools and churches to please support this project and donate water, which they will have transported via a truck to the Cape every Thursday.

If there are any specific locations in the Cape area that you would like to receive water, such as schools, old age homes, orphanages, animal shelters, etc, please let Charné or Luzanne know and they will make the necessary arrangements.

Contact them on 084 540 0337, WhatsApp 084 402 8417 or pop an email to luzanneh@live.co.za if you want to make a water donation.
