Water collection has been a success so far

Calling the South to come together and drop off water in support of this cause.

RE/MAX All Stars made its first water delivery to Relyant Express Services to be couriered to Cape Town on February 9.

In just two weeks more than 6 000 litres of water has been collected. A special thank you goes to the learners at Elsburg Primary School and Sunny Ridge Primary School who brought containers that added up to 1 000 litres. RE/MAX All Stars and Relyant Express will still be collecting water until the water restrictions have been lifted in the Cape. Unfortunately, tap water is not allowed to be sent up but sealed water bottles are welcomed to be dropped off.

WELL DONE: In just two weeks more than 6000 litres of water has been collected.

Brackenhurst Primary has started an initiative at the school and children are urged to bring in 5-litre bottles of water on ‘Water Wednesdays’ for the month of February, and in turn, they get to wear civvies. Schools in Ward 23 are being challenged to do the same and can contact councillor Sarah Wissler directly.

Oasis Water is selling 5-litre bottles of water for R12 and The Water King is selling theirs for R10 as a Cape Town initiative. Contact Raj on 011 432 1984 or 082 850 1283.
