Elizabeth Browne wants to share her love

To share the love she carries around inside of her with others is what keeps her happy.

SECRETARY, child placement co-ordinator and one of i4118’s co-founders, Elizabeth Browne, has a passion for the vulnerable. She wants to share all the love that is pent up in her heart, with others.

Elizabeth (51) is unmarried and has no children of her own. However, as she is also a Sunday school teacher, she considers herself a mom to her Sunday school children.

To share the love she carries around inside of her with others is what keeps her happy and content with life.

For Elizabeth, i4118 is special and unique. She explained why: “It’s unique. It puts at-risk children in better circumstances. It offers them hope, acceptance, love and happiness, which is wonderful.”

One day when she is gone, Elizabeth hopes to be remembered as someone who made a positive difference, even if it was just in the life of one child.

She said that this foundation has improved her as a person and changed her outlook on life. She has a different perspective on abuse and neglect now. She admitted that she had pre-conceived ideas about it before she co-founded the foundation, but luckily that’s changed for the better.

“I think I am also more approachable and charismatic now that I work with different people on a daily basis, and I am quite proud of that,” added Elizabeth with a shy smile.
