Desmond Burrows wants to lead all to Christ

“I especially want to see fewer orphans and widows who are hurting in the world.”

BOARD member and advisor, Past Desmond Burrows, has a passion to lead as many people as possible to Jesus and His love.

Desmond (60) or “Des” as he is often called, is married and has two children. So what keeps Des driven to reach success in his life?

He explained: “When I can see that I’ve helped someone in any way to fulfil their emotional and spiritual needs through the love of Christ, I feel driven, motivated and happy.”

Above all other similar initiatives, the i4118 Foundation is special to Des. He says he knows a lot of children who don’t know what love is. But, at i4118, these children (and all children) are truly loved. They are accepted just the way they are.

Des said he lives to bring people to the cause of Christ. He hopes to one day be remembered as someone who grew a support team big enough to make a significant change in the lives of children in society at large.

So far, Des says he has already reached some of his vision with the help of i4118. “I especially want to see fewer orphans and widows who are hurting in the world,” he explained. “This foundation is definitely a big step in the right direction.”
