Animals get to enjoy some kindness

Tsholofelo Motsepe was awarded her R10 000 as well as R10 000 to the National SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).

THE NSPCA received a generous donation recently, as part of West Pack Lifestyle’s festive season giveaway competition.

The competition, running until December 23, allows their customers to stand the chance of winning their share of R500 000 in cash prizes and R500 000 to be donated to their charity of choice, for every R200 spent in-store.

On December 12, Tsholofelo Motsepe was awarded her R10 000 as well as R10 000 to the National SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).

“I was very happy to have won; it was definitely unexpected,” said Motsepe. “The NSPCA is the first organisation I thought of when they said I can choose a charity,” she added.

The NSPCA is located in Alberton, where the cheque hand-over took place.

“I’m so pleased to have received this generous donation as it allows us to better fight this war against cruelty to animals, which also affects people a lot more than most people seem to realise,” said Ayanda Ngcofe for the NSPCA.

“We receive no assistance from the government and are reliant on the kindness of others, so this is a big help, thank you,” she concluded.
