Accident on Voortrekker Road
Emergency services are on the scene and the authorities will presumably investigate the incident.
AN accident on Voortrekker Road in Alberton between a truck and a car has caused some traffic issues.
The incident happened at around 11.30 am today (Friday, August 25) on the intersection of Voortrekker Road and Ring Road East.
There were no injuries reported but left the two occupants of the car in shock.
The accident seems to have occurred when a truck was coming down Voortrekker Road and did not or was unable to stop at the traffic light, colliding into the Citi Golf coming from Ring Road East.
Emergency services are on the scene and the authorities will presumably investigate the incident.
William Ntladi, spokesperson for Ekurhuleni’s Emergency Services was not aware of the accident when RECORD spoke to him.
