Save this emergency number

What to do when you come across an accident scene.

COMING across an accident while driving can be a scary and stressful experience. Not only is it a dangerous environment in which to get out of your vehicle but, the sight of injured, bleeding people or children can induce panic in the toughest of people.

Paramedics at National Paramedics deal with such incidents on a daily basis and are specifically trained and equipped to cope with and treat patients on such scenes. But what happens if you are the first person to come across the accident?

Should you come across an accident or have a medical emergency, please call National Paramedic’s 24/7 emergency line on 071 530 2479. “Save the number now; your call can make a difference,” said Chantal Peel, paramedic.

If you are in the Alberton / Johannesburg South area and would like to be added to their Emergency WhatsApp group, please message them privately with your name, number and area.
