Join ladies self-defence course

Learning these skills could save your life!

THE Epic Foundation is proud to announce that ladies from Unleashed have offered to support the Epic Foundation by offering self-defence courses.

In today’s life, where there are so many cases of rape and abuse against women, it is important for women to have the skills and techniques to help them get out of difficult situations and possibly avoid being harmed. It is for this reason that the Epic Foundation urges women to join in their self-defence sessions.

You will not only help yourself with these skills, but for each paid-for course, a free course will be presented to a woman living in a shelter. A percentage of the fee will also go to the Epic Foundation to assist with the funding.

In only six hours you will learn the basic strikes and soft targets, defences against chokes, grabs, ground defence and more.

The courses will take place at Impello on the third floor of 139 Greenway Street, Greenside. Part one of the course will take place on July 22 and part two, on July 29. Group one will proceed from 9am to 12pm and group two, from 1pm to 4pm. Group sizes are limited.
