Win Nu Metro Movie Tickets: Fast and Furious 8

FAST and Furious 8 is the latest instalment in one of cinema’s longest-running franchises and special pre-screenings start showing at Nu Metro The Glen on Thursday, April 13.

These screenings will take place from 17:15 on Thursday (exact show times on the Nu Metro website) before the film is released generally from Friday, April 14.

Fast and Furious 8 will also be showing in Nu Metro’s fully immersive Xtreme cinema at The Glen. Xtreme is Nu Metro’s premium large format screen-brand. This technologically advanced cinema will project Fast and the Furious 8 on one of the largest, brightest screens in the city, with superior 360-degree sound.

The film reunites the original team of fast-racing fan favourites, Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson and Ludacris. But, a ferocious Charlize Theron and Dame Helen Mirren join the crew to get a cut of the action this time round.

Now that Dom and Letty are on their honeymoon, Brian and Mia have retired from the game and the rest of the crew has been exonerated, the globetrotting team has found a semblance of a normal life. But, when a mysterious woman seduces Dom into a world of crime he can’t seem to escape and into the betrayal of those closest to him, the team will face trials that will test them as never before.

Expect lots of high-octane stunts, furious racing and all the other over-the-top action scenes, which movie fans have come to expect from the blockbusting series.
