One suspect dead, two arrested after crash in Alrode South

Two firearms and a money bag were retrieved, along with the vehicle the suspects crashed.

ONE suspect is dead and two were arrested after a robbery took place at a business in Bosworth Street, Alrode South.

At around 15:45 on Monday, February 27, three suspects fled the scene of an alleged robbery and lost control of their get-away vehicle. They crashed close to the corner of Rogers and Weyers roads in Alrode South, leaving one dead.

BUSTED: One suspect lies on the ground next to the getaway vehicle after they crashed it.

Sentinel Security were on the suspects’ tails and were there to apprehend the two surviving suspects.

AT the time of the RECORD’s arrival, Sentinel Security, Fox Medical Unit and the SAPS were on-scene, along with many curious bystanders.

Two firearms and a money bag were retrieved, along with the vehicle the suspects crashed.

*RECORD is still awaiting comment and details from the Brackendowns Police Department.
