The suspect who attacked Ludi Vink with a pool cue on Tuesday evening, February 21 at Mitzy’s Bar in Randhart, handed himself over to Alberton detectives, in the presence of his attorney, on Friday morning, February 24.
He’s currently being charged with murder and assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm at Alberton Police Station. He could possibly appear in court today for bail, depending the time it takes to process the case and details. If not, he will be held in holding cells until such time that a date for a bail hearing has been set.
Captain De Fillet from the Alberton Detectives said they will oppose bail and more arrests are to follow.
