A fire broke out at the home of the MEC for Public Transport, Mosunkutu, in Kibler Park just before 8am this morning.
According to reports, no one is harmed.
The fire was long put out but firefighters are still trying to established where the fire started.
The whole family and the children were not harmed. The MEC was taken to hospital.
The fire department is on the scene.
