This is how it must be done on Nelson Mandela Day.

THE Caxton South office partnered with various companies and sponsors to make this Mandela Day a special and charitable one for the Look Forward Creativity Centre.

The Glen Shopping Centre, Panarottis, Netcare Hospitals, FNB City Deep Market, Clover City Deep, Integrica Alberton, Moffatview SAPS, McCormick, Pernod Ricard South Africa and Danga Security were some of the companies that offloaded lots of goods that would be valuable to the centre and also provided helping hands to help with the repainting of the centre and repairing of damaged material.

Clover donated a brand-new washing machine, baby blankets and a lot of dairy products. Netcare and The Glen will be repairing whatever needs to be repaired for the next 12 months. Danga Security will put its guards at the charity home for free for the next two years. Moffatview SAPS are also helping with some paint jobs at the centre.

Caxton staff also took part in lending a helping hand and offloading the goods donated at drop-off zones. The campaign was initiated Caxton South salesperson, Linda Mbuyane, to make this Mandela Day at the centre unforgettable.

Mandela Day is a global movement where you can donate your money and your time to mobilise your organisation to do something for those in need.
