No help to fix water leak

THE Alberton RECORD offices reported a leaking municipal water meter to the Alberton office of Ekurhuleni approximately a month ago and to date nothing has been done to fix it.

With many parts of the country facing drought, attempts were made to try and conserve water.

Local councillors have been made aware of the meter that is now on about one drop per second. No one has attended to the water leak dated back more than a month ago.

Attempts to get comments from the CRM Manager in Alberton as well as the local councillor have been unsuccessful.
