ALBERTON SAPS arrested twenty suspects around the Alberton SAPS policing area, between March 14 and March 16.
The arrests took place while officers were conducting their normal crime prevention duties, including
stop and searches, rotating road blocks and tracing operations which involved sector members, the Flying Squad, Metro Police and detectives.
The suspects were arrested for various offences, including theft, shoplifting, assault, possession of drugs, intimidation, attempted murder and housebreaking. All the suspects will appear soon in the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court and the Germiston Magistrates Court respectively.
