Cherry blossom tissue paper craft

This cherry blossom tree craft is adorable and enjoyable to do. All you need are a few basic items that you most likely already have on hand.

Help your child make beautiful cherry blossoms out of tissue paper. Children will enjoy scrunching tissue paper into small flowers and sticking them to their branch.

What you need

  • Tissue paper (multi-coloured pinks)
  • Liquid craft glue
  • White cardboard
  • Brown marker
  • Scissors

How to make it

  1. Cut the tissue paper into small squares.
  2. Next, draw a branch on the white cardboard with the brown marker (drawing skills aren’t necessary because the flowers will cover most of the branch anyhow).
  3. Allow the children to select the tissue paper, crumple it, and attach it to the branch until the cherry blossom branch appears to be full.
