Your child will love bubble painting!

Painting with bubbles is a fun way to make art without using a paintbrush! These vibrant paintings are simple to make.

Are you and your kiddos looking for something new and fun to do on a particularly windy and overcast morning? Why not paint bubbles?

This project has some seriously messy potential but is super fun, so let’s get started!

What you need

  • Dish soap
  • Different coloured metallic liquid acrylic paints
  • Paper cups
  • Straws
  • Paper
  • Glitter (optional)

How to make it

  1. Mix half a cup of water with a generous squirt of both dish soap and paint.
  2. Give your child a straw and let them blow into the soapy paint water.
  3. Lay your sheet of paper over the top of the bubbles to create an imprint.
  4. Repeat with different coloured bubbles until your child is happy with their final bubble painting.
