Kwa-Thema model off to South America for Miss Teen Globe International pageant

The young woman will be representing South Africa.

Kwa-Thema – Model Amukelani Zithulele Dubazane (18) is a young woman with a zeal for leadership and empowerment.
She was recently crowned Miss Teen Globe South Africa 2022 at the Miss Teen Universe South Africa pageant in Durban.
The title qualifies her to represent South Africa at Miss Teen Globe International in South America in July.
“The pageant is about girl empowerment, something that is close to my heart and aligns with my community outreach programmes.

“Initiatives such as this one prove our dreams are valid and that they can indeed come true through hard work and dedication,” she explained.
Dubazane is studying public management and governance at the University of Johannesburg and has a certificate in television presenting and acting.
Last year, she was a finalist in the Miss Teen South Africa pageant. Her aspirations include being crowned Miss South Africa.

Model aspires to grow a million-dollar organisation

“I find politics quite fascinating. I believe it is important for the youth to take an interest in politics so we can rebuild and contribute positively to the development of our country and its future.
“Who knows, perhaps one day I can hold one of the top positions in leading our country,” she said.
Dubazane also feels strongly about gender equality as an advocate for feminism.
“Feminism seeks equality between genders and the empowerment of women.
“I believe empowering women is essential to the health and social development of communities,” said Dubazane.
She thanked her family and the community of Kwatsaduza for supporting her throughout her journey.
