Help your child make hand-stitched paper cards

It's Saturday and today is the perfect day to spend quality time with your little one making something fun and easy from recyclable material.

Children will enjoy creating these hand-stitched paper cards to give as gifts or to display on their bulletin board. Additionally, you probably have the majority of the items needed for this project on hand.

  • To begin, start by cutting a shape from thick craft paper (try a flower or an animal).
  • With a small hole punch, create holes along the border. Utilise embroidery floss, thin twine, or yarn to stitch.
  • For extra flair,  use a pipe cleaner as the stem and a lovely vintage button for the centre.
