Join steps challenge to raise awareness about epilepsy

The organisation recently launched a campaign, for people to walk 50 million steps ahead of International Epilepsy Day, to raise vital funds for epilepsy organisations across the world.

Epilepsy South Africa is on a drive to raise awareness ahead of International Epilepsy Day.
There are approximately 50 million people worldwide affected by epilepsy.
Epilepsy is a neurological condition that can affect anyone, at any age.
The organisation recently launched a campaign for people to walk 50 million steps ahead of International Epilepsy Day, to raise vital funds for epilepsy organisations across the world.

The campaign started on January 4 and ends on International Epilepsy Day 2021, which falls on February 8.
“We are appealing to the community at large to come out against the stigmatisation of people with epilepsy,” said Magdaleen Kruger, director for the Gauteng branch of Epilepsy South Africa .
To enter, share your video on social media with the hashtag #50MillionSteps before February 8.
Your efforts can also earn you a R3 500 prize in each of the following four categories: silliest steps, cutest step, best baby steps and best dance steps.
