For Pet’s Sake has something for everyone

For Pet’s Sake, the Springs SPCA charity shop, has plenty of items on offer.

With a variety of goods on sale, such as clothes, books, toys, dog toys, dog food and even gym equipment, there’s definitely something for everyone at the shop.

The majority of these items are donated by members of the public and the shop has proven to be a great and much-needed source of income for the SPCA.

Every cent made goes to the society so they can ensure the animals in their care receive the best quality food and are given the best living conditions the SPCA can provide.

At the SPCA’s recent AGM, committee member Clinton Uys explained the shop has been doing better than ever, generating a steady revenue and making life a little bit easier for the organisation.

The SPCA encourages everyone to donate to the shop and gladly accepts donations of all types of goods.

“People come here with all sorts of things all the time, and it’s great to see people taking an interest in the shop,” says kennel manager Roxanne Grobler.

Some items are auctioned on the SPCA’s website and bargain hunters are advised to keep their eyes on the Springs SPCA Facebook page to catch some great deals.
