PK promises more music for fans

Kwa-Thema – From winning the 2017 Where Is The Beef rap competition to performing alongside internationally acclaimed duo Mobb Deep, 25-year-old Pakiso Maserumula, popularly known as PK, is one star to lookout for.

“I started rapping from 2011, while I was still in high school but up to this day I still get excited.
“In 2013 I released my first mixtape before I met A.V.N, the production company behind my new sound.
“I then started working with A.V.N and successfully managed to drop my new EP, SPIYO, in March.
“I do different genres but mostly hip-hip,” says PK.
His sound is influenced by artists such as Lock Smith, Dax, Kind Los, Maraza, Kwesta and DNA.
He was featured on the hip-hop show Shiz Live.
“With the EP, the idea was to reintroduce myself to the industry and remind people that I am still here.
“I fused different sounds and styles to come up with a fresh sound which is quite distinctive from other rappers.
“I am currently working on another EP (GS EP) with the help of my business partner, Bongani Nkosi, and my public relations manager, Amahle Ngwenya.
“This project might drop early next year if not late this year,” he adds.
He says his biggest achievement is being able to make someone smile through his art.
“People have been showing love for my body of work, I promise to keep the standard with the new EP that’s coming. I am truly thankful to all my supporters and my DJ Mac Trill for always being by my side.”
