Calling for all gospel rap music fans

The Christ Tape Movement is also extending an invitation to young people who are interested in Gospel rap music to join their group.

Tsakane – The Ekurhuleni World Outreach Centre will be hosting The Christ Tape Movement on November 30.

The event aims to celebrate and promote Christian hip hop. “We want to recognise the culture of gospel hip hop, it is becoming popular and it is well received and enjoyed by people,” says, Neo Rebel (21), organiser.

The public is invited and entrance is free.

The show will start at 1pm and continue until 6pm.

The Christ Tape Movement is also extending an invitation to young people who are interested in Gospel rap music to join their group.

He adds that a church which allows the youth to praise God through hip hop is paving way for young people become closer to God.

“We have to refrain from the old traditional ways of doing things.

Churches need to provide a platform for young people to be themselves and praise God in a manner which makes sense to them. This is what we do to achieve great commission,” concluded Rebel.

JustThabo, Da Max, Prince Sguri and the all-gospel music-group Tehilla Music Generation will form part of the line up on the day.
