Arts come to the fore in Tsakane schools

The event will be held at Tsakane Hall on March 30 from 8am.

Tsakane – Twin Plug Theatre Organisation is going around secondary schools in Kwatsaduza, putting together plays, dance and music.

Ayanda Martin of Twin Plug says, “We are going around to the schools, making groups of 15 students we will help put together a play.”

On March 30, the groups will meet at Tsakane Hall where they will all perform their plays and compete against each other for a trophy.

Martin says it is important for them to undertake such initiatives because there is so much focus on sports and little on the arts.
