Twin Plugs ready for ‘The Pursuit of Happiness’ to hit the stage

Twin Plugs organisation is working on their next production, which is due to hit the stage on April 28.

Tsakane – “The Pursuit of Happiness is a story about a brother and sister who grew up without parents and were brought up by a foster parent.

“As they grow up they separated,” explains Derick Mathebula, one of the organisation’s directors.

In the story, Nomasonto becomes a street kid and her brother Maxwell gets a job as a garden boy.

“Nomasonto’s life changes after meeting a guy (Frank), who takes her to school.

Eventually, she reunites with Maxwell, who works for Frank’s family.”

The twist in the story is the revelation that their parents were killed by the same people Maxwell is working for.

The play will take place at Tsakane Community Hall on April 28 at 1pm.

“We have been filling up the Old Age Hall ever since we started, so now we are taking the challenge to fill up the Tsakane Community Hall.”
