The birthday celebration began on Friday night and went right through until Sunday, with a different theme for each day. The theme for Friday was ‘All Black’ and the night was dedicated to house music. Saturday’s theme was ‘Traffic Colours’ with people coming dressed in green, red or orange. Sunday’s theme was ‘Masks’.
Hundreds were entertained by the SAMA award winning artist, who was supported by his industry friends during the three day explosion. The event featured 50 artists and DJ’s, including other SAMA award winning artists such as the 2017 Best Kwaito Album winner Dr Malinga and 2015 Best Rap Album winner, and member of Cash Time, KO.
Kwesta thanked everyone who came to support the event, and emphasised the importance of residents supporting local artists.
