Upcoming arts festival in Duduza
Kwatsaduza - Young women across Gauteng will take to the stage to showcase their talent during the inaugural Basetsana Women’s Festival over the weekend.
The event will be held on February 18 to 19 at the Duduza Multipurpose Centre.
This follows a successful launch and introduction of the Basetsana Script Writing and Directing programme last year.

The programme is aimed at getting young women to play a leading role in the arts.
A group of 60 young women were given an opportunity to learn more about poetry and theatre script writing and directing.
Community members are encouraged to attend the event.

The entry to the festival will be free and the programme will start at 10 am.
