Orlando Jones comes to Emperor’s Palace

Comedy Central presents ‘Stand Up and Laugh’ with Orlando Jones in association with Blu Blood and Kaya FM.

The one-man comedy show is coming to the Theatre of Marcellus, Emperors Palace from July 22 to July 23.

The versatile American comedian, film and television actor recently visited the country to film “Madiba”, a six-part US mini-series based on the life and times of Nelson Mandela, in which Jones starred as Oliver Tambo.

In May Jones was a guest judge, alongside Kenny Kunene, at the first Comedy Central Roast Battle which was shot at Parkers Comedy and Jive.

The event saw some of the best local comedians sparring in a hilarious show-down.

“Building on our heritage of bringing major international stars to South Africa, Blu Blood is proud to bring stand-up genius Orlando Jones to South Africa for his first appearance in four years and his first one-man show in SA. This is the Blu Blood way,” comments Osman Osman, managing director of Blu Blood.

Tickets can be bought through the Emperors Palace Box Office on 011 928 1297/1213 or Computicket.
