Miss SA crowning to take place at Carnival City

The Miss South Africa 2016 pageant will be broadcast live in a two-hour television spectacular from Carnival City.

This year’s Miss South Africa pageant will be showcased in a spectacular two-hour live broadcast on national television.

The pageant takes place on March 19 and will be televised from 5pm to 7pm.

The venue has moved from Sun City to Carnival City as the entertainment centre at Sun City will be closed for refurbishments.

The 12 women who are in competition to be named Miss South Africa 2015 Liesl Laurie’s successor are:

Returning as judges for Miss South Africa 2016 are Kojo Baffoe, Sophie Ndaba, Casper Bosman and Pnina Fenster.

Joining the panel is businesswoman and former Miss South Africa Basetsana Kumalo.

They will be judging contestants on intelligence, leadership, talent, physical fitness and a dedication to community service.
