Afri-Sun donates bursaries to students
CEO of Afri-Sun Phumla Mutle says the event of issuing bursaries went well.
Afri-Sun held an event where they gave bursaries to students who are enthusiastic about their education.
Afri-Sun CEO Phumla Mutle says they are grateful that the students who currently have bursaries are doing well in their studies and she encourages other children to apply as well because they don’t want students to discontinue their studies because their parents can’t afford tuition fees.
One of the trustees Gugulethu Mdlangamandla advised learners who are new to the trust to use this opportunity wisely.
Mdlangamandla says the trust does work on a results system yet they communicate with the learners regularly to ensure they help them with any challenges that may arise throughout the year.
“Failure is not fatal, just a delay” said trustee Noli Mboweni.
Parent Thinus Van Gergeuning says he is thankful to the company because they are giving young people an opportunity which his generation never had.
