Felicity is a children’s book writer and illustrator who wrote three successful series, but has had writer’s block since her mother died and is struggling to find her feet.

Regardless of pressure from her editor and support from her sweet and loving husband, Felicity cannot shake off a shadow of uncertainty.

On an evening out, Felicity smelled a particular scent which made her feel nostalgic, but unable to pinpoint this feeling, she became overwhelmed by this familiar smell and feeling that she is all of a sudden experiencing.

Is her mind playing tricks on her as she desperately tries to resist this emotional feeling?

Where love lies was a little hard to get into at first, but once you continue reading it, it becomes impossible to put down.

It takes into account mental health and illness, family issues and the consequences of emotional infidelity.
