The return of Elvis Blue
He’s back and ready to entertain.
Music sensation Elvis Blue will be making his long awaited return to Benoni, to entertain his fans.
With album sales in excess of 100 000, eight top 10 radio singles and more than 500 live performances, Elvis is a beloved South African musician.
“Afrikaans” is the title of his latest album, which offers a variety of Afrikaans songs, such as “Rede om te glo” and “Spore”.
In April, 2014, he was rewarded with the Best Male Artist and Album of the Year Ghoema-awards, at a function at Carnival City.
He has also won a Sama award for Best Contemporary Album.
But there’s more to this musician than meets the eye, he is a husband and father, and does community work through Life Community Services, in George.
He also attempts to inspire children through music, at The Casterbridge Music Academy.
His show will take place at 7pm on Wednesday, July 30, at the Northfeild Methodist Church.
Tickets are available at the church office or at the coffee shop during the week, and refreshments will be available before the show.F
