August is just around the corner and that means it's almost time for the Springs Advertiser and African Reporter's Wheels and Wings day at the Springs Airfield on August 2.
The day will be a filled with entertainment and fun for the whole family with a great entertainment line-up including the musical stylings of HunTer and Black Jacket, a display of classic cars to admire, an array of home-made goods for sale and planes in the sky.
A tea garden and beer tent will offer much-needed thirst quenchers and an array of food stalls will satisfy hungry tummies.
The South African National Blood Services (SANBS) will also be on hand to collect blood from visitors willing to answer the call for this much-needed life source and the Addie is challenging Springs residents to take up the call and ensure that Springs’ SANBS collects enough blood to see us through this winter season.
Businesses and community members can also be involved by taking either an exhibition stand or a fête stall.
