Spurs beat Kwa-Thema

Spurs reached its target in 11 overs, with 114 balls to spare.

Kyle Degambur took four wickets to help Actonville Spurs CC to a nine-wicket victory over Kwa-Thema in the Eastern Premier League at Lords Cricket Ground on January 28.

Batting first in a game reduced to 30 overs due to bad weather, Degambur took the match away with his four wickets for 16 runs in 4.1 overs, while Sinenhlanhla Zwane grabbed three scalps for 25 runs in five overs.

Zubuyr Turky assisted the duo with two wickets, and Shaveer Khan ended with one scalp as the visitors were bundled out for 81 all out inside 24 overs.

Karabo Makosha (16), Kgomotso (15) and Bonginkosi Nkono (13) top-scored for Kwa-Thema as only four batsmen managed to register double digits.

In response, Spurs captain Saahil Khan and wicketkeeper Sabelo Mabanga each scored 34 runs, while Faizal Khalia posted 15 runs as they reached their target in all overs with 114 balls to spare.
