Club has community health in focus

Members of Soweto Aerobics Lovers, led by Shimmy Molefe, graced the event.

Duduza – The Exquisite Fitness Club hosted an aerobics and fitness event at Duduza Multipurpose Centre on Saturday (January 27).

“We want our community to be healthy. The health system is overloaded, and lifestyle changes can cure many diseases.

“We want fitness to be fashionable, especially for young children. It must be a culture that even when we are gone, those who come after us will keep fit,” explained Sibusiso Mabaso, one of the club’s founders.

The free event focused on aerobics and functional training.

Mabaso said he was happy with the turn-out of about 80 participants.

“Our events are open to people of all ages,” he added.

Exquisite Fitness Club members will travel to Soweto on March 21 for an aerobics session.
